Technical question: The 1979 CR250 I have has a set of 43mm Forks and Steering head fitted from either a 1982 CR480 or a 1983 CR480. How do I tell which model Forks are fitted from the outside (one is KYB the other is Showa). Please advise.

Hi Fellow CR lovers, I am looking for a good source for a 79 CR250RZ clutch kit. Anyone know of one?

Hi Guys,

Anyone know what a 360 Mugen ( ME# ) motor is worth and what a 250 '79 with a 360 top end kit  motor is worth on todays market?

Thanks. Chas.

Hi everyone, just joined, have a CR125RZ since new and now doing a resto. It did @ 5 race meetings when I was 13 in juniors and was put in the shed when the RA was released. It's been sitting in and out of sheds and carports since and got a bit weathered. It has the original tyres @ 50 worn. Can anyone point me to someone that can strip and repaint the frame, engine and swingarm. Also need to rebuild wheels and chrome the top of the forks between the clamps. I'm in Perth although happy to send it east if I need to.  Oh, also, can you buy the 23' front tyres ?

Cheers, Craig.

Hi Guys, just before Xmas i purchased a '80 CR125RA and a '80 CR250RA and I have nearly finished a tidy up (semi-Resto's, they were both in pretty good nic) on these bikes. I will post a couple of photo's when done...

Cheers Frank Jnr

I spoke to Les at VMX Unlimited about the air filter and he was very helpful. Thanks for the tip Darren.
