OzVMX Picture GalleryThe OzVMX Picture Gallery is a program that will let you post your own pictures online for other OzVMX visitors to enjoy. Click here to access the Gallery. Read on below for instructions on how to use the Gallery. Anyone can view pictures in the Gallery. To post images, you must first register. To registerClick the Register link at the top of the page. Read the Terms and Conditions,then click Accept (if you agree to the Terms) Complete the details. You really only need to enter a Username and a password (if you are registered for the Forum, it might be easiest to use the same name and password). Click the Submit Registration button. You should now get a confirmation screen to say you are registered. Click the Continue button. You should now be in the Gallery. Viewing GalleriesYou will see three Categories at the top of the screen: User Galleries, Members Bikes, Events. Click on each to view that category. User Galleries: This is a general category. Create an album to post to. Members Bikes: Just for pics of your bike/s. Post to the Anyone album. Events: Just for pics of modern day VMX events you've attended. Pics from racing back in the day should go under User Galleries. Note User Galleries is open to all registered members. You can create a Gallery within this category, and then create Albums within your Gallery. An Album is a space dedicated to your own pictures, which no-one else can post to. Both Members Bikes and Events will only permit you to post to the Albums already there. You cannot create a new Album. If you'd like to have an Album created in one of these Categories, please contact the Gallery Admin. Creating an Album (Gallery)A Gallery is a place for you to create albums and post images. The first time you create an Album, a Gallery will be created. The gallery will be labelled with your Username. Log in. Choose the Create/Order my Albums button at the top. On the new screen, click the New button. This creates a new album called New Album. Change the name to whatever you would like it to be called. Do this in the text box just above the Apply Modifications button. Click Apply Modifications, and then click OK on the confirmation warning box. You'll now be shown the 'Creating Album' screen. Click Continue on the 'Creating Album' screen. Your album has now been created. By default, it is placed in the User Galleries category within your own Gallery (note, the first time you create an Album, a Gallery will be created for you). You can navigate to your Gallery by clicking on the 'My Gallery' link at the top of the page. Posting to an AlbumLog in. Click the Upload File link. The 'Upload File' screen is displayed. You can select up to 10 image files to upload. Click the Browse button to find and select an image file to upload. After selecting your files, click the Continue button. Uploading may take several minutes depending on your connection speed. Hopefully you will now see the 'Successful Uploads' screen. Click the Continue button. The second 'Upload File' screen is now displayed. Use this screen to describe the image, and to select the album to post it to. The drop down selection will default to your own album, but you can select any 'public' album to post to. Click the Continue button. Repeat this step for each file to be uploaded. You should now see the 'Information' screen which confirms your image files have been posted. Click the Continue button. Your image has now been posted.
