QVMX 2005 Series - Round 6

The QVMX Club held Round 6 of their 2005 series at Mundoolun on 2 October 2005. Cokeman filed this report on a typically great QVMX meeting.

Hot conditions for Round 6 and a little dusty to boot but we had about 40 riders including 6 new members who rode one of the best Tamborine layouts ever.

A special thanks to Doug and Darren for their input - everyone was raving about the two long straights (anyone with a five speed was looking for sixth!). Pre 75 numbers were still down, you guys are missing out on some of the best racing we have ever had at QVMX but we were well supported in the other classes. Great to see the Cavellry there, those boys ride them there BSA's like 125's.

Once again we had support from some of the HEAVEN boys from NSW. Strange though to see Victor on a Maico and not a Yamaha but I believe they had a great day's riding.

Don't forget our end of year social weekend Oct 22/23 at Connondale it will be a blast. Free riding practice w/end, camping, kids peewee track, free beer, AGM on the Saturday evening, prizes, give aways etc. Bring the whole family! $40 plus $15 one event licence (if needed) this will be something not to miss!
